FL0041- WORLD WILDERNESS
Dramatic and tense, WORLD WILDERNESS fuses a number of native playing styles - featuring Sarangi, Charango, Bouzuki and many more. The result is eerie and powerful, building suspense through layers of percussion and drones and delivering a huge cinematic payoff.
Alejo Nobili is a composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
A scholar in the ancient music of Greece, India, and Scandinavia, his sound is a blend of all of these influences, recontextualized into something modern and cinematic. A virtuoso in sarangi, harmonium, Irish bouzouki, Cretan lyre, and charango (amongst others) Nobili creates powerful vistas and narratives within his music, with a rich depth of texture and expert performance.
